the moon is slowly moving away from the earth. what will eventually to the gravitational force between the earth and the moon? why?

The force will get weaker as the moon moves away.

The gravitational force will decrease.
by F = GMm/d^2,
The force is inversely proportional to d^2.
As moon moves away ,the distance will increase so the force decreases.
