What is the speed of an object that is standing still?

Speed is always relative to something.
There's no such thing as "real" speed.

If the object is standing still on the table, then
its speed relative to the table is zero.

BUT . . . its speed relative to that passenger jet that's
flying over your house could be 500 miles per hour.
