If the perimeter of a rectangle is 420yd, then the width is 18" and the length is 30. This is because 180 is 6 times of 30 and all of the sides combined total 420 yards. When you multiply 180 and 30, you get 5,400. The area of the rectangle is 5,400 square yards.
