Subtracting b from both sides, we get y-b=mx. Next, we can divide x from both sides to get (y-b)/x=m. This does not fit into any option, however, as y-b/x is different from (y-b)/x due to that in the former, you first do b/x while in the latter you have to subtract b from y first
