We can calculate for the amount of heat released using the formula:

ΔH = ʎ m

where,

ΔH = heat released

ʎ = latent heat of fusing for water = - 333.55 J/g

m = mass of water = 13.3 g

Calculating:

ΔH = (- 333.55 J/g) * 13.3 g

ΔH = -4,503 J = 1.08 cal
