To some maybe yes, cause things were "simpler" but it depends on how someone sees it. I see technology as helping and entertainment. So nowadays we have more, so in my opinion technology is better now.
this question is really about your opinion. Some people might have a reason to go into the past(for family or something) others might want to see the future( to see technology)
