How does energy move through a food web?

Here's Joel's Explanation :D

Plant's get energy from the sun light, then herbivores and insect eat the plants. After that is the Predator vs Prey, Carnivores come and eat the herbivores transferring the energy to them. Then Bacteria decomposes the bodies of the animals and gives nutrition to the soil. Finally the nutrient in the soil is once again given back to the plants. :D
