Could I have a formula for acceleration when I am given the M/S and time?

Acceleration =

       [ (speed at the end of some time) - (speed at the beginning of the time) ]
divided by
          (the length of the time involved) .

This gives you the magnitude (size) of the acceleration, but it doesn't tell you
anything about the direction of the acceleration.
