Pollination- A pollen grain lands on the stigma then the pollen travels down the style. The pollen finally reaches the ovaries and the male gamete joins the female gamete to produce a zygote

Fertilisation- Sperm contacts the egg the the sperm or it's nucleus enter the egg. The eggs become activated and developmental changes begin. The the sperm and egg nuclei fuse
