Charlier is cutting a 10 3/8 foot piece of wood to make shelves for his bedroom. Does Charlie have enough wood to make four shelves measuring 2 5/8 feet each?

2 5/8 × 4 = 10 1/2

Charlie does not have enough wood because 10 1/2 is also equal to 10 4/8 and Charlie only has 10 3/8
