Three times the lager of two numbers is equal to four times the smaller. the sum if the numbers is 21. find the number

3x = 4y
X+y = 21

Multiply second equation by 3

3x+3y= 63

Substitute 3x with 4y

4y + y = 21

5y = 21

Y=4.2

X + 4.2 = 21

x= 16.8
