How might having night blindness affect a person's activities?

I guess having night blindness would affect a person's activities in a negative way. This person would have to take special care about what he or she is doing, given that they vision is heavily impaired. For example, they shouldn't be allowed to drive at night given that they might put themselves and others in danger.
