What is 2/3-7/12 please explain it to me as I'm lost and have to show an explanation

please excuse my poor handwriting. The first thing to know is that you cannot add or subtract fractions until the denominators are the same. You do this by finding the LCD=least common denominator. Since 12 can go into 12 one time and 3 can go into 12 evenly 4 times, 12 is the LCD.
