It could be a positive or a negative thing, say you were around your friends, and they were doing something bad, which could lead to them peer pressuring you into doing it as well. So in that case social influence is negative, but it could also be positive. Take your parents for example, they influence you to do the right things. So it could be both. But there’s two reasons.
