What gave the Allies an advantage at the Battle of Coral Sea?

The Allies had broken Japanese codes and were able to formulate a strategy based on what they learned from their battle plans for Coral Sea. As a side note, this advantage also helped the Allies predict the Japanese strike at Midway a few months later.
