help please, Did you notice that Ogaloussa and all of the main characters in this story are male? What does that tell us about traditional African society?
I would say that in traditional African society women were often ignored or not acknowledged as equals with men. Morn were glorified and were seen as the head of the household where as women were more of a "seen and not heard" kind of deal.
