mass = 2000 grams

molar mass of sucrose = 342.3 g/mol

2.5% of the sucrose soltion.

Let assume we are given 1 M of the sucrose solution;

2.5% of 1 M = 0.025 M

∴

Molarity = ( mass/molar  mass )(1000/V)

mass = (0.025 * 342.3 * 2000)/(1000)

mass of sucrose = 17.115 grams
