23/6 or 3 5/6

2 1/6 = 13/6

To add these we need to make the denominators the same. To do this we need to double the 5/3 and that will make the denominator 6 and then will be able to be added.

5/3= 5x2/ 3x2= 10/6

10/6 + 13/6 = 23/6 or 3 5/6
