americans, in contrast, are highly variable in their extent of
acculturation because they are the newly arrived. asian
Americans are highly urbanized, less concentrated in central city
neighborhoods, large number moving into suburbs of metropolitan areas, compare
favorable with standards for education achievement (differences exist), jobs
and income - have achieved success and equality
