Jim and kate have a piece of ribbon that is 1/3 yards long. They want to use this piece of ribbion to make two book marks that are the same length

1/3 of a yard long is equal to a foot. 1 foot=12 inches. Each of the bookmarks would need to be 6 inches if they are going to be the same length.
