When you’re listening to live music you feel like you’re “in the moment” because it stimulate your senses. Also it’s the “unedited version” of the music. However when you listen to recorded music, (it’s first off extremely convenient/portable) and there’s technically no limits of takes. You can listen to it as many times as you want unlike the live music!
