(a+b)^2=

a^2+2ab+b^2

its simply a property of math or a formula and if u want proof this works try it with any two terms like this for example:

(a+b)^2=

(2+7x)^2=

Subsitute.

a^2+2ab+b^2

2^2+2*2*7x+2x^2

so.. 4+28x+4x^2

or 2x^2+28x+4 is your answer :)

and if you solve this using the

(2+7x)(2+7x) looping method thingy

then you will see that you get the same answer of

2x^2+28x+4.

this proves that the formula works.
