What I would do is generate a table for the ratios. Something along the lines of: 5 : 2 : 1 = $0.50 : $0.40 : $0.50
10 : 4 : 2 = $1 : $0.80 : $1
...
 and so on. Tables are a pretty good way to solve ratio problems like these.
