[tex] 1\frac{3}{4} [/tex] = [tex] \frac{7}{4} [/tex] we change this because this is a improper

3 = [tex] \frac{3}{1} [/tex] we change that because the number of 3 was by itself and it needed to become a fraction {if that makes sense}

Problem becomes → [tex] \frac{7}{4} [/tex] ÷ [tex] \frac{3}{1} [/tex]

We can change the symbol to a multplication symbol to solve the problem easier

[tex] \frac{7}{4} [/tex] × [tex] \frac{1}{3} [/tex]

Therefore your answer would have to be [tex] \frac{7}{12} [/tex]
