The area A of a circle with radius r is given by A = πr^2. But this is for a whole circle. A sector is only just a part of a circle with a central angle. We calculate the area as follows:

A = (
∅/2)(π/180)r²
A = (170/2)(π/180)(9.1)²
A = 122.85 cm²
