(f·g)(x) also means f(g(x)).

So basically what we do is take the function g(x) and plug it into f(x) where ever there is the variable x.

[tex]f(g(x))=5(5x^{2}+4x)+2[/tex]

Now distribute the 5.

[tex]f(g(x))=25x^{2}+20x+2[/tex]

This is as simplified the equation gets as it is not factor-able.
