Circumference of the Earth at the equator = 24,874 miles (40,030 km) .

Period of Earth's rotation =
23.9344699 hours

Speed = distance/time  =  1,039.3 miles per hour  (1,672.5 km/hr) .

Very close, easy numbers to remember:  1,000 mph / 1,700 km/hr .
