Explanation:

The pressure exerted in the fluid at that depth is given by :

[tex]P=\rho \times g\times h[/tex]..............(1)

Where

[tex]\rho[/tex] is the density of the fluid

g is the acceleration due to gravity

h is the depth of the fluid

It is clear from equation (1) that the pressure exerted in the fluid is directly proportional to the depth in a fluid. As the depth increases, the pressure will also increase.
