I do believe humans will always destroy the Commons that are shared.

Explanation:

Homo Sapiens are very ignorant, we tend to think there is no such thing as a limit. We also take action out of emotion, such as spite, jealousy, anger, or just want. If you can't have it, they can't have it, if I want to drive my range Rover through my neighbors property just for fun, I'll do it because I don't think there will be any consequences, I can do whatever I want. That is often how we think.
