One of the biggest disadvantages of a Presidential system, especially as compared to a Parliamentary system, is the contentious relationship between the Executive branch and the Legislative branch. In a Presidential system, the Executive does not necessarily have a relationship with the legislative branch which can make governance hard as there is no relationship to build upon.
