[tex]a = \pi \times r {}^{2} [/tex]

r = 4

[tex]\pi \times 16 = 50.27[/tex]

The formula for figuring out the area of a circle is pi times the radius of the circle (this being 4). Multiply the two numbers and you come up with an area of approximately 50.27 ft^2.
