Answer:

An operon is a genetic unit that is found in the bacteria that consists of an operator, promoter, and a group of genes that regulate the function of the operon.

The inducible operon is a type of operon that get switched on when the substrate bind to it. While in reproducible operon the regulation is done by the co-repressor that is most commonly the end product of a metabolic pathway.
