To find the slope when given 2 sets of points.

Use the formula:  y2-y1/x2-y2

Y2 is 1

y1 is 10

x2 is -15

x1 is 15

1-10/-15-15=

-9/-30

3/10

The answer is not negative because when you divide -/-= a positive answer.

The slope would be -3/10. I got this by

(-15,1)-(15,10)=30, -9

then you put the right number on top for your slope -9/30.

Then you simplfy.

(-9/30)/3=-3/10.
