If you are trying to find the equation for a line passing through those points, first we subtract the points.

(4,-1)

-(3,-2)

(1, 1)

Then we find out what our slope (m) would be by Rise (y) over Run (x)

1/1 = 1

y = mx + b is our equation for lines.  M is the slope.  Now we solve for B, by plugging one of our points into the equation.

-1 = 1(4) + b

-1 = 4 + b

-5 = b

Now that we have B, we have our full equation.  y = x -5.  Hope this helped!
