Density is found by dividing mass by volume. The following formula can be used to find the density of an object:


D=[tex] \frac{m}{v} [/tex]

D=[tex] \frac{40 g}{20.5 cm^3} [/tex]

D=1.95 g/cm³


The density of the rock is 1.95 g/cm³.
