[tex] \frac{7x}{10} - 3 = \frac{3x}{4} [/tex]
[tex](40) \frac{7x}{10} - 3(40) = \frac{3x}{4} (40)[/tex]
[tex]4(7x) - 120 = 10(3x)[/tex]
[tex]28x - 120 = 30x[/tex]
[tex] - 120 = 30x - 28x[/tex]
[tex] - 120 = 2x[/tex]
[tex] \frac{ - 120}{2} = \frac{2x}{2} [/tex]
[tex] - 60 = x[/tex]
Or
[tex] \frac{7x}{10 - 3} = \frac{3x}{4} [/tex]
[tex] \frac{7x}{7} = \frac{3x}{4} [/tex]
[tex]x = \frac{3x}{4} [/tex]
[tex]4x = 3x[/tex]
[tex]4x - 3x = 0[/tex]
